ABOUT BLAKE

Blake Johnson currently serves in the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 100. He was elected to the position on June 27th, 2020, to fill a vacancy created by resignation. Prior to his appointment to the Indiana General Assembly, Blake was serving his second term on the Indianapolis City-County Council. During his first term, he spearheaded more than $1 billion in capital investment across his district, and was selected by Mayor Joe Hogsett to help lead an education task force that produced the city's Indy Achieves scholarship program. He served as Chairman of the influential Administration and Finance Committee, which oversees the $1 billion City-County Budget on an annual basis.

Additionally, Blake is president and CEO of IndyHub - a local non-profit that represents and advocates on behalf of 20- and 30-somethings in Indianapolis, connecting them to volunteerism, leadership roles and ways to get more plugged in to the city. 

He and his wife, Natalie, live in the Community Heights neighborhood on Indy's east side with their dogs, Jack and Jamison.
